Why Have Memberships?

FAB is a volunteer run not-for-profit society.  The majority of our events are organized as "members only" not to exclude anyone but to make it easier to organize things like liquor licenses and insurance.  The society protects our volunteers and members and allows us to throw amazing events that you can't have otherwise.  Before Joining FAB we recommend reading about our membership requirements mission and goals as a society.

Membership Requirements

Any male identifying person  being of the full age of 18 years or older, can become a member upon payment of the fee.  Note that in order to participate in elections and run for board positions you must be a resident of Alberta.  Please remember that this is a group intended for gay, bi, queer individuals who identify as males.  The FAB Den of Bears reserves the right to cancel new memberships and refund the membership fee if the membership was purchased in bad faith.
